Dennis joined the team in February of 2023 as the newly created Assistant to the Manager of Purchasing and Procurement. Dennis works in support of all the Manager of Purchasing and Procurement duties, with particular attention to materials management, inventory, warehouse management, material deliveries, and stocking.
Dennis is a 24-year veteran of the Champaign Police Force, where he held the position of Detective Sergeant. He is a results-driven individual with experience leading criminal investigations and providing protective services for individuals. A highly respected community leader with a proven history of utilizing superior negotiation, decision-making, and communications skills to obtain information and make judicious and fair decisions to protect people, property, and assets. Dennis is also a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
